Traditions of Christmas Card Kits To Go

Traditions of Christmas Cards
Cards Using just die cuts and ephemera
No stamping

The Christmas Traditions Designer Series Paper (DSP) is gorgeous paper with many different colors in it.

By creating a sketch first and working with the sketch to pick out paper and card stock colors, each card becomes a design of it’s own.

No two cards are alike. The “merry & bright” card requires stamping for this unique stamping technique.

The “from our house to yours” card is made with ephemera. Both cards are beautiful, but if you aren’t a stamper than you can make a version of the stamped card with die cuts.

Card #1 Stamping Technique … Uses an ink pad and stamps. I like using a nature type stamp like leaves.

Steps:

  1. Cut an 8.5 x 11 piece of card stock to measure 8 x 1o.5. Score the 8 x 10.5 piece of card stock at 4 and 5.25. (These will become the mats for the front of your card although you could use them as inside mats as well.)
  2. Stamp 2 or 3 different shapes around the entire edge of each the card.
  3. See video for the complete tutorial

Card Kit To Go …

Card Kits are just that … the kit comes with everything and you put it together with the video tutorial.

You can purchase the card to stamp or the card with the ephemera.

You will need to provide adhesive. I recommend the Stampin’ Seal.

You will get the following:

  • all card stock pieces
  • card base and envelope
  • ephemera pieces (substitute sentiment or other piece if necessary & if this is a non – stamped kit)
  • die cuts
  • DSP – designer series paper
  • ribbon if added to the card
